On this page you will find a selection of the most frequently asked questions at Capita Selecta. If the answer to your question cannot be found on this page, you can always contact us through our customer service.




How can I register for a course?

You can only register for a course through the website. Click on your study program, and select your year of study. Then you will see a registration form, where you can select the course you want to register for.


Can I register for multiple courses?

It is possible to register for multiple courses through the website. This can be done separately for each course, or for multiple courses at the same time.


When can I register for a course?

You can register for a course from the moment it is published on our website. Most of the times the courses are updated at the beginning of each block. You can also register for our newsletter. This newsletter automatically keeps you up to date on the courses that we offer. You can register for our newsletter by sending an email to our customer service.


For which subjects are courses offered?

We offer courses for the study programs that are shown on the left menu. We only offer courses for the subjects that most students struggle with. If you want to follow a course that is not yet offered on our website, you can send an email to our customer service, then Capita Selecta will look into the possibilities.


Can I still register for a course that has already started?

If the course is not full yet, it is still possible to register under certain circumstances. Please contact our customer service.




When will a Capita-course be given?

The dates and times for the courses will be published on the website two weeks before the exam latest. This information can be found on the website under the heading ‘Courses’. If the dates and times are not available yet two weeks before the exam, you can still subscribe and unsubscribe later if needed, when the data and times do not match your schedule. However, you need to unsubscribe at least four days before the Capita-course starts!


How will the Capita-course be taught?

A Capita-course contains explanation on the exam material such as literature and lectures, furthermore (possible) exam questions will be practiced. The course will be given by a student teacher in a small group of 10 to 12 students. The course material is provided by Capita Selecta, you will have to bring other materials such as books and articles yourself.


What can I do when the course group is full?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to subscribe for the group anymore when the group is full. However, it is possible that Capita Selecta provides a reserve list for the group, when this is possible it will be clearly stated on the subscription form.


Can I still change my group?

It is only possible to change your group before the course starts and if another group still has places available. Changing your group needs to be done at latest four days before the course that you registered for starts. To change your group, you need to send an e-mail to our customer service. Only after receiving a confirmation from our customer service, you will be switched to another group. All classes need to be attended within the same group.


Where will the Capita-course be given?

The locations of the Capita-course will be published two weeks before the Capita-course starts, and can be found on the website. The exact locations will also be stated on the registration form. Under the heading ‘Course location information’ you can find more information on the common locations used by Capita Selecta in the different cities.


How can I unsubscribe for the course?

You can unsubscribe for the entire course at latest four days before the first class starts. This needs to be done through e-mail, it is not possible to do this by telephone.


If I cannot attend a lesson, what should I do?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to cancel a single lesson. If the situation occurs that you will have to miss a lesson, due to a study-related reason (exam, lecture or a different Capita-course) it might be possible to provide you with a discount coupon, which contains the value of one free class (20,-) for your next Capita course. Please contact our customer service at least four days before your first class starts.


How can I file a complaint?

A complaint can be emailed to our customer service, and your complaint needs to accurately describe your problem, and provide us with information on the course that you followed (course name, city, group, own name and information). Complaints can be send until three days after the Capita-course ends. Any complaints that we receive after this period cannot be dealt with anymore.


Will Capita-courses also be given for resits?

For practically all subjects, a Capita-course will be given for the resits. If you would like to follow a resit Capita-course, but this course is not stated on the website yet, you can send an email to our customer service stating the course name, your study, year of study, city where you study, and your contact information. Then we will look into the possibilities of organizing a Capita-course for the resit you would like to take.




How can I pay for the course?

You can pay for a course in three different ways:

- By pre authorized debit

- By invoice

- By invoice to a third party (for example your parents)

When you choose to pay by invoice an administration fee of 3,95 will be added. When registering for a course on the website you can choose your method of payment.


When do I need to pay for the course?

If you choose a pre authorized debit, the payment will be withdrawn automatically after the end of the course. If you choose to pay through an invoice, this invoice will be sent to you after the course has ended.


What is the bank account number of Capita Selecta?
